An AI storyboard should solve production decisions before generation begins. It establishes who is present, where the camera is placed, what changes during the shot, and how one frame connects to the next.
Break the script into visual beats
Do not create one frame for every sentence. Divide the script whenever the location, camera setup, character goal, or important action changes. Each beat should communicate one clear visual idea.
For product and social videos, treat the hook, proof, demonstration, and call to action as separate beats.

Write shot prompts in a fixed order
Start with the subject and action, then composition, camera, environment, lighting, and style. Put identity and wardrobe constraints before decorative details.
Avoid combining several camera moves in a short shot. A locked camera with one readable action is easier to control than a shot that pans, zooms, changes focus, and introduces a character simultaneously.
Create anchor frames before animation
Approve the cast, set, wardrobe, props, and color palette in a still image first. Generate variations from that approved frame instead of restarting from text for every shot.
For movement, define the beginning and ending composition. A first and last frame pair gives the video model a destination and can reduce random changes.
Review continuity like an editor
Place frames in sequence and check eyelines, screen direction, prop placement, time of day, and wardrobe. A beautiful individual frame can still break the scene if a character switches sides or an object disappears.
Only animate frames that survive this review. That saves generation time and makes the final edit feel intentional.
