A Product Ad Creative Brief Template for Agencies
Copy a practical product-ad creative brief for agency concepts, supported claims and client review.
A useful product-ad brief gives the creative team enough information to make a reviewable concept and gives the client a clear basis for feedback. Start with one product, one audience and one supported message.
Copy this brief
Keep the source assets attached to the brief. A link to a changing product catalog is less precise than identifying the exact approved images and version.
| Field | What to supply |
|---|---|
| Product | Exact SKU and approved reference assets |
| Audience | One specific buyer situation |
| Objective | What the creative should help the viewer understand |
| Supported claim | The claim and the evidence the client has approved |
| Opening | Hook and first visible product detail |
| Demonstration | What can actually be shown |
| Format | Intended placement, crop and length |
| Brand constraints | Logo, label, colors, language and forbidden changes |
| CTA | One clear next step and destination |
| Review owner | Named person responsible for product accuracy and claims |
Example: a desk organizer concept
This is an illustrative brief, not a client result. Audience: someone arranging a small workspace. Message: show the organizer's actual compartment layout. Opening: a close-up of those compartments. Demonstration: stationery arranged in the real sections. CTA: view product details. Avoid unsupported claims about productivity or showing accessories that are not included without making that clear.
Separate concept review from final approval
First ask whether the hook and shot sequence communicate the intended idea. Then review product geometry, labels, voice, captions and claims in the actual generated output. Approval of a written brief does not mean every generated frame is approved.
Track revisions
Name files by product, concept and revision. Log what changed, who requested it and what remains unresolved. If the client requests a new audience or claim, update the brief before generating another batch.
Use ArtFlame.ai Ad Studio to explore a guided concept from source assets. Check the selected settings and displayed credit cost before generation. For narrative structure, read the UGC guide.
